ASPHALT PLANT INSPECTOR TRAINEE
Are you seeking a fulfilling career in the construction industry? Do you enjoy working independently? Are you interested in leveraging technology to submit your test data through the internet? Ardaman is seeking entry-level candidates interested in becoming Asphalt Plant Inspectors. We offer comprehensive training and support to obtain the required FDOT CTQP certifications for a successful career in the construction industry. No previous asphalt experience is necessary. Work is typically in an air-conditioned environment at various plants in the Central Florida area. A company vehicle is provided.
Responsibilities:
Perform quality assurance testing and inspections at asphalt plants during asphalt production.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Interest in the construction industry.
· Willingness to learn and obtain necessary certifications.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to move up and down stairs and platforms.
· Ability to lift and transport samples less than 50 lbs.
· Must be willing to work days or nights, based on project needs.
· Must have an excellent driving record within company standards.
· Must pass company background checks including drug screen.
Starting salary of $18 per hour during the training and certification process. Upon certification and commencement of plant inspection duties (typically within 2 to 6 months), the salary increases to $20 per hour.
