Position Summary:
Support the financial management of the Madison business unit, maintain financial records, and provide administrative processing support for invoices and payments. Review prime contracts and recommend exceptions to terms. Draft subcontracts. Oversee annual SOC 2 certification process and maintain related records. Evaluate emerging technologies for cybersecurity risks.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management
- Process invoices and payments in accordance with established policies
- Resolution of billing errors
- Expense classification
- Examine contract provisions to verify adherence to invoicing procedures and payment timelines
- Provide technical assistance regarding the financial management of projects
- Train staff in financial processes and best practices

Draft communications and financial reports
Contract Management
- Review contractual terms as part of project bid/no bid decision
- Identify risks and exceptions
- Draft and subcontracts

Monitor, organize, and maintain contract documents and affiliated materials
Cybersecurity Management
- Analyze emerging technologies and risk

Liaison with corporate IT to ensure best practice is implemented
Oversee annual renewal of SOC 2 certification process
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years professional experience
- Two or more years of experience working with financial data
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Strong written and verbal communication

Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Starting Annual Salary:
- $55,000 to $85,000 Depending on level of education, qualification, and experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Hybrid office environment (3 days in-office/2 days remote)
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer monitor, computer mouse, calculator, and computer printer
- Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
