The Programme

NEST is a UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO)-funded programme designed to support the Government of Nigeria in implementing macroeconomic and structural reforms that enable economic growth. Running from late 2025 through 2028, NEST focuses on strengthening economic governance, building institutional capacity, and fostering inclusive dialogue to ensure reform legitimacy. The programme operates through a flexible advisory facility that mobilises technical expertise to deliver high-impact interventions aligned with Nigeria's reform priorities.

 

The Role

Tetra Tech are looking for experts across the following areas:

  • Macroeconomic Stability and Governance

Monetary policy, debt sustainability, and financial integrity, including FATF compliance, to help shape coherent macroeconomic frameworks and strengthen governance structures.

  • Regulatory and Business Environment Reforms

Specialists in trade policy, investment facilitation, and regulatory streamlining, as well as advisors on digital finance and virtual asset regulation to improve Nigeria's business climate.

  • Institutional Strengthening and Delivery Capacity

Professionals with experience in organisational development, delivery unit design, and capacity building within ministries and agencies to enhance policy implementation and operational efficiency.

  • Private Sector Engagement and Inclusive Dialogue

Exerts in public-private dialogue facilitation, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement to ensure reforms are inclusive and widely supported.
