About the role

As a Commercial Analyst at Tetra Tech, you will play a key role in supporting our mission by providing insightful analysis and strategic recommendations to drive business growth and operational efficiency. 

This role will work closely with the FP&A team, the region's management team, and broader operational teams, making a difference to the business by monitoring and managing the financial performance of the region.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing financial and commercial support by partnering with key stakeholders
  • Preparing and delivering weekly and monthly forecasting, analysis, reporting and commentary
  • Tracking of KPI's and producing management reports to identify risks and opportunities
  • Coordination of the annual budgeting process including regional presentation packs
  • Providing commercial support for business cases, tenders, and projects
  • Supporting project managers and administrators with training, understanding ‘the numbers' and driving best practices


About you

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference and working with qualified professionals in the technical consulting industry. 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance or economics
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to coherently explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and analyse complex data from multiple sources
  • High attention to detail with well established numeracy and financial modelling skills 
  • A practical understanding of project management techniques
  • Technological savviness, with the ability to navigate new digital software
