Tetra Tech is adding an Environmental Scientist to our Environmental Services team. This opportunity is offered as a full-time or part-time position and can be offered as remote, hybrid, or in-office.

Your role will include:
• Working with senior and other technical staff to develop client solutions across the commercial and industrial sectors.
• Building and maintaining client relationships to identify needs and collect data.
• Participate in established and new client projects related to Air, Water, Waste, and Hazardous Materials.
• Perform data collection utilizing onsite observation and/or remote methods.
• Utilize software, spreadsheets, databases, or other novel tools for data analysis and client solution development.
• Develop and deliver accurate and precise technical documents rooted in regulatory and client requirements.
• Develop and deliver presentations and/or training sessions on regulatory matters.
• Review and monitor changes in environmental regulations.
• Support client project teams and internal business development initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree (BS) in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies, or Earth Science from a four-year College or University.
• Eight years' experience within the environmental science field;
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record without any restrictions.
• Expert-level Excel proficiency to optimizing databases and tracking systems as well as creating and maintaining project reports.
• Dynamic time manager who can prioritize multiple projects, proactively communicate progress and maintain schedules.
• Effective communication to include coaching, providing objective specific feedback, and facilitating positive collaboration with team members and clients.
• The ability to travel 15% to customer sites and/or field visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous work experience within Commercial/Industrial or Consulting/Engineering sectors.
• Master's degree (MS) in Environmental Science or Sustainability
• CHMM and/or ISO 14001 certified.
This role can be performed from a wide range of locations throughout the US. The pay range for this position is between $95,000 and $112,000 annually. However, pay offered may vary depending on primary work location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal parity. Due to the part-time nature of this role, certain adjusted benefits are offered, including a 401 (k), paid time off, medical, disability, and insurance.
