Your Role:
Tetra Tech Inc. Disaster Recovery (TDR) is currently seeking a Financial Program Manager for disaster recovery and case management programs. The successful candidate will have related experience as a program manager managing federally funded project budgets, timelines, and compliance requirements. They will be responsible for overseeing financial and data management teams to integrate operational data with financial forecasts.
· Under policy direction, develop and implement policies and procedures to assess project financial viability and risk.
· Conduct business model analyses and reviews to ensure applicability and compliance with established project finance methodologies.
· Review life-cycle cost analyses and other financial analyses to maximize the return on the contract investment.
· Prepare reports and other financial and business documents assessing and communicating the financial viability of each project.
· Keep senior management informed of developments and progress during the engagement for each project.
· Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional standards.
· Meet time constraints and client expectations of the timing of deliverables.
· Identify financial issues and obstacles and develop and implement efficient solutions with the Senior Management Team.
· Identify and promote any other function in support of the successful achievement of program's objectives.
· Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
· Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
· Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
· Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or relevant degree with ten (10) years of experience working in project finance and/or financial analysis; or a Master's in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or relevant degree with five (5) years of experience working in project finance and/or financial analysis.
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the performance of managing federally funded contracts in disaster recovery, construction, professional services, or relevant sector.
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing programs and/or projects in accordance with federal regulations (2CFR200 or Federal Acquisition Regulation).
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing diverse teams to achieve project goals, timelines, and budgets.
· Expertise in financial risk management, quality assurance, and quality controls.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Effective team building and personnel management skills.
· Proficiency in use of computer software appropriate to this position, including Microsoft Excel and Teams.
· Prior experience with federally funded disaster recovery, construction, or infrastructure projects.
· Prior experience managing teams of professionals.
· Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
· Ability to work attentively with minimal supervision.
· Workdays in excess of 8 hours and/or weekend attendance may be required.
· Have extraordinary attention to detail and work well with a team.
· Ability to learn new software programs as necessary.
