Tetra Tech is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to work in our office in Pasadena, CA. This individual will work under the general supervision of the Human Resources Manager. The responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant include the following:
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the onboarding of new hires by verifying completion of all new hire documentation, follow up with employees and ensure proper documentation is received
- Assist with the processing of form I-9
- Maintain employee records and overall integrity of employee files
- Assist with HR correspondence via email and phone
- Support HR Team with day to day needs
- Work collaboratively with departments and all levels of employees
- Perform various administrative tasks, as assigned
- Travel to site locations to assist with first day processing.
- Review and track required state training for the employees,
- Assist in responding to the hr inbox and voicemail box
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have 2 plus years of Human Resources experience
- Must have experience in employee relations.
- Have reliable transportation to visit field project sites as needed.
- High level of reliability, follow through and discretion
- Proactive and collaborative team player
- Customer service focused
- Ability to learn a variety of computer programs
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of personalities
- Flexible work schedule to include work during weekends
- Able to excel within a fast paced and at times intense work environment
- Proficient computer skills are required (MS Office Suite)
- Experience with Oracle and applicant tracking systems are a plus
- Must be able to see and hear with or without accomodations.
