Tetra Tech's High Performance Building Division is looking for an innovative Junior Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of engineering services in our team-oriented environment providing federal, industrial, and commercial clients with professional engineering services involving site layout and design, stormwater management, green infrastructure and water/wastewater collection and conveyance systems.
Additional Locations: Huntsville, AL / Virginia Beach, VA / Cincinnati, OH / Will consider other locations.
Your Contributions will Include:
- Work with project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, industrial and federal clients.
- Model water system, design pump stations, force main sizing, and water tower designs.
- Perform water resources engineering and modeling for surface water management systems and stormwater collection/conveyance systems.
- Plan and design water/wastewater/stormwater treatment, facilities/distribution/conveyance, pumping, and storage facilities projects.
- Green infrastructure and low-impact development stormwater design and hydraulic analysis.
- Interact with clients, contractors, and government officials.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or a related field) from an ABET accredited college / university
- 1+ years of experience working in a civil engineering capacity.
- Experience required in stormwater, water system and pump station hydraulic modeling.
- Experience in Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis (or similar software).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Must be U.S. Citizen due to certain contractual obligations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- E.I.T or F.E certification.
