Tetra Tech's commitment to hiring the best talent in the industry and helping them thrive professionally is stronger than ever. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance candidate for our Alburquerque, NM location.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Extensive knowledge of quality assurance programs and requirements for DOE nuclear facilities.  Working level knowledge of ASME NQA-1, Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications and its application to new projects and design activities. 

·         Practical experience applying NQA-1 to projects within the DOE Order 413.3B-Program and Project Management for Acquisition of Capital Assets framework.

·         Position will require strong technical writing skills and ability to work with diverse set of customers.  Ability to provide quality assurance analysis across a broad spectrum. 

·         Must possess skills in expressing technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally when diplomacy is required to provide input for improvement and/or concerns.

 

Qualifications:

·         Minimum of B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related technical field, capable of managing multiple programs simultaneously. 

·         Minimum of an engineering degree and five years directly relevant experience with quality assurance requirements for nuclear facilities. 

·         Proficiency in MS Office, strong written and verbal communications skills. 

·         Demonstrated ability to work independently.

·         Must have or be capable of obtaining a DOE Q-clearance.

·         A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.

·         Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
