TDC is searching to fill an Accounts Payable Operations Specialist position in Dallas, Texas. The Accounts Payable Operations Specialist will report to the Senior Corporate Accountant and work closely with other investment team members with respect to the Firm's financial, accounting, and tax compliance operations.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Process and verify invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.

  • Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system.

  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

  • Assist with month-end closing and the preparation of all required accruals.

  • Generate reports detailing accounts payable status.

  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

  • Assist with the annual audit and provide necessary documentation as required.

  • Perform various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Due to the core functions of this role, a consistent, in-office presence for this role must be sustained.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field is a plus.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience as an accounts payable operations specialist or in a similar role.

  • Experience recording transactions in accounting software.

  • Workday software experience is a plus.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.

  • Comfortable working in a small, team-oriented environment.

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

  • Highly organized, able to manage large amounts of written and electronic data.

  • Motivated and willing to work overtime as needed.
