POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Solutions team is a forward-thinking group of professionals dedicated to identifying and attracting top talent to join Transwestern. As the Talent Solutions Recruiting Manager, you will oversee the full candidate-to-employee lifecycle: including attraction, recruitment, onboarding, retention, and offboarding across a designated geographic region.

This role offers a dynamic blend of hands-on execution and strategic influence—ideal for a senior recruiter ready to elevate their impact across the talent function. Partnering closely with the Director of Talent Solutions, the Regional Operating Officers, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners, you'll translate workforce needs into tailored recruiting strategies that align with business goals. You'll champion the full utilization of Talent Solutions resources to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for candidates and employees alike. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the internship program and early career talent pipeline—driving long-term workforce planning and positioning the company to attract and retain top emerging talent.

As part of the broader HR team, Talent Solutions works collaboratively to support all Transwestern team members.  Our approach is consultative, service-oriented, and focused on building scalable infrastructure to support growth.  We translate strategy into action and deliver results through legendary customer service and operational excellence.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Attraction:

  • Monitor regional industry trends and best practices to continuously improve hiring strategies and effectiveness.

  • Maintain a dynamic book of business with prospective candidates to proactively support regional hiring needs.

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing channels—including job boards, professional networks, recruitment agencies, and employee referrals—to identify and attract top talent.

  • Actively promote the company's brand by engaging with potential candidates and industry professionals to build awareness and interest.

  • Represent the organization at job fairs, networking events, and recruitment campaigns to expand visibility and reach.

  • Strengthen university recruiting efforts by leading the 8-week national summer internship program across regional and national platforms to build a robust early-career talent pipeline. Manage the application process, screenings of candidates, development of national internship curriculum, and driving engagement of market leaders' participation.

Recruitment:

  • Partner with hiring managers to conduct intake sessions to clarify hiring needs. Provide guidance on role scoping, market alignment, and requisition quality. Oversee job postings, phone screens, and candidate progression to ensure a streamlined recruitment lifecycle.

  • Provide training in recruitment policies, systems, and tools, including offer negotiation protocols—to ensure consistency, compliance, and confidence in hiring practices.

  • Maintain a list of regionally preferred recruitment agencies and direct hiring managers to approved partners as needed.

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple locations, ensuring seamless communication between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters.

  • Assist hiring managers with screenings and interviews, ensuring candidates meet job requirements and align with company culture.

  • Champion a high-touch candidate experience by coaching hiring teams on communication best practices and ensuring consistent, professional engagement throughout the process.

  • Lead efforts to maintain timely, transparent communication between candidates and hiring teams. Ensure messaging reflects company values and maintains momentum throughout the hiring process.

  • Analyze key metrics such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, and cost-per-hire. Present insights to the Regional Operating Officer and coach stakeholders on data-driven decision-making.

  • Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to employment laws, company policies, and regulatory standards.

  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to junior recruiters. Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence across the recruiting team.

Onboarding:

  • Manage New Hire Orientation (NHO) and acquisition strategy and execution.

  • Oversee all onboarding activities for new team members in your assigned region, including offer letters, employment contracts, Workday entries, background checks, drug screenings, and I-9 completion.

  • Host bi-weekly New Hire Orientation (NHO) sessions to introduce new employees to Transwestern's culture, values, benefits, and workplace expectations.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to support onboarding processes related to mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions.

  • Manage regional compliance for contingent workers, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Retention:

  • Align regional hiring strategies with career development opportunities to support long-term employee growth and engagement.

  • Monitor evolving workforce expectations and trends to help the organization adapt and retain top talent.

  • Oversee the regional I-9 reverification process to ensure ongoing compliance with employment regulations.

Offboarding:

  • Analyze exit interview data and conduct in-depth follow-up interviews when needed to gather actionable feedback and maintain positive alumni relationships.

  • Manage the regional unemployment process in collaboration with HR Business Partners to ensure accurate and timely responses.

  • Process verification of employment requests through approved third-party vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in recruitment required, preferably within a regional or multi-location setting.

  • Experience using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other talent acquisition tools.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role or in a service-related capacity preferred.

  • Experience in commercial real estate, hospitality or investment services is preferred.

  • Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS); preferably Workday.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Knowledge of labor laws, recruitment compliance, and best practices, (federal and state level preferred).

  • Proficiency with managing multiple job requisitions, interviews, and follow-ups efficiently.

  • Ability to influence hiring decisions while balancing candidate and employer needs.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage candidates and hiring managers.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Ability to travel as necessary according to business needs.

  • This position may be located in Dallas or Chicago with a preference given to Houston.
