M-F 8:00am-5:00pm 40 hours/week Summary: The SEG Business Development Officer at Travis Credit Union identifies, evaluates, and cultivates opportunities to build and maintain strong, professional relationships with current and prospective Select Employer Group (SEG) partners. This role focuses on expanding SEG participation through outreach efforts such as job fairs, financial wellness seminars, and other partner events that enhance the member experience and promote financial education. The officer collaborates closely with internal teams, including branch managers and staff, to coordinate SEG activities and ensure consistent follow-up and support for long-term relationship growth. - Profile:
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with SEG partners to promote TCU products and services that help their employees achieve financial wellness.
- Actively seeks out and engages new businesses for potential SEG partnerships.
- Coordinates and delivers engaging presentations and regular visits to SEG partners. Collaborates with branch staff to support SEG-related activities.
- Develops an annual business development plan with clear objectives for serving existing SEGs and recruiting new employer groups, aligned with TCU's strategic goals.
- Maintains accurate tracking systems to monitor SEG engagement and identify growth opportunities. Implements innovative strategies to support SEG expansion.
- Prepares and submits monthly status reports on SEG activities and outcomes to management.
- Provides timely follow-up on SEG and employee inquiries, ensuring smooth referrals to appropriate departments when needed.
- Works closely with marketing and other departments on campaigns, promotions, events, and content to support SEG initiatives.

- Solid understanding of credit union products, services, and the overall member experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software.
- Thorough knowledge of credit union operations, services, mission, vision and core values.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintains discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Familiarity with traditional, digital, and emerging marketing channels, and how to leverage them effectively to support business development and engagement strategies.
- Confident in preparing and delivering engaging presentations and facilitating meetings.
- Reports directly to VP, Branch Sales and Service.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in business development, financial services, or a related area.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial institution with a focus on business development will be considered
- Grade 16: $87,462.96/annually - $108,035.20/annually
