Summary of Job Duties: The Director of People & Culture Partners is responsible for leading a team of People & Culture Partners in ensuring strategic priorities are aligned with people and culture initiatives and with regulatory and accreditation requirements. The position fosters an inclusive environment that generates solutions and innovative ideas. The Director partners with enterprise leadership in developing strategies to achieve organizational outcomes, and collaborates with the People & Culture Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment in service delivery. The Director maintains an effective level of business literacy about the financial position of the enterprise, its mid-range and long-range plans, and its culture and competition.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Applied Communication, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field of study plus eight (8) years of demonstrated accomplishment in multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws including two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Ensures the People & Culture Services department is aligned with the vision and strategic direction of the Division of People & Culture.

  • Coaches and develops the People & Culture Partners to ensure appropriate level of support is provided to maintain peak performance.

  • Fosters partnerships with leadership to ensure understanding of stakeholder value and alignment with the department's service delivery.

  • Responsible for leading the execution of People & Culture initiatives throughout each phase of the employee life cycle, which include but are not limited to employee engagement, culture, performance management, succession planning, organizational design, change management, and workforce planning.

  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the People & Culture Centers of Excellence.

  • Builds and maintains strong functional teams through effective recruiting, training and development, team building and succession planning.

  • Establishes processes and procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery.

 

Operational & Tactical

  • Reviews and makes recommendations to executive leadership for improvement of the organizations policies, procedures and practices.

  • Responsible for leading all HR audit sessions with internal/external regulatory and accreditation surveyors to ensure requirements are met for hospital and ambulatory areas of the medical center.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.
