The Radiology Tech Option II PRN plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health.
The Imaging Services team consists of Xray, CT, MRI, General Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology. As a member of the Union Health Imaging team, you will play an integral role by assuring that services are provided within professional standards and organizational policies to assist patients who lean on the Imaging Services team for answers.

Tech – Option II PRN Details

Essential Job Duties:

• Completes scheduled procedures efficiently and accurately, optimizing patient flow and adapting to schedule changes.
• Demonstrates competency in patient positioning, equipment adjustment, image processing, and contrast media administration.
• Displays proficiency in imaging procedures, safety protocols, and adheres to hospital policies.
• Upholds confidentiality, exercises decision-making skills, and communicates constructively.
• Maintains cleanliness, stocks supplies, and recognizes patient priorities.
• Contributes to orientation, stays updated on hospital policies, and ensures radiation safety.
• Embraces new procedures and responsibilities, offers suggestions, and invests in ongoing education.
• Demonstrates punctuality, actively participates in meetings and inservices, and follows proper notification protocols for absences.
• Prepares supplies, applies sterile techniques, and collaborates during exams.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an A.M.A.-approved formal Radiology technical training program.

License/Certification:

• Maintains licensure with ISDOH and ARRT.
• Registered with American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or ARRT eligible.
• Holds CPR Certification
