- Certification Details
- ACLS and BLS certifications are needed
- A copy of the candidate's unexpired driver's license must be submitted.
- Job Details
- Travel Telemetry/Medsurg float RN's are needed for an 8 week assignment to start ASAP in a Hospital located in West Virginia.
- Shifts consist of 7am-7:30pm.
- The RN will work every other weekend.
- These are very basic Telemetry patients here.
- They work with CHF, Cardiac Cath, chest pain, Pneumonia, Chronic renal disease, COPD, Ortho, and Oncology Patients.
- The Oncology RN's at the hospital will give the nurses their Chemo treatments.
- The RN's could be expected to float between the 7 different Telemetry units.
- They might also float to Critical Care but only if they have that experience.
- They will only see patients that are in their scope of practice.
- MOST FREQUENT unit they will be on or assigned to will be 6N & 7N.
- PCU Nurse to patient ratio 1:4 and MedSurg/Telemetry Nurse to Patient ratio are 1:5-6 depending on acuity of the patient.
- They use the Kronos System here to clock in and out.
- Job Requirements
- Travel Telemetry RN should be familiar and able to work with basic telemetry patients.
- Oncology experience is required for handling Chemo treatments.
- Experience in Critical Care is necessary for those who might float to that unit.
- All travelers must take and pass a cardiac rhythm exam.
- RN with ACLS should easily be able to pass this
- Schedule Information
- Shifts are 7am-7:30pm.
- The RN will work every other weekend.
- The facility prefers RN's willing to work 48 hours per week but will consider those for a guarantee of 36 hours per week.
- Unit Specific Information
- Nurse to patient ratios for Day and Night Nurses are 1:5-6.
- Units have a PCA (Patient Care Assistant).

- NO FALSE NAILS.
- This is one of the most popular states to travel in with lots of things to do and beautiful scenery.
