The Business Systems Analyst, an integral member of our IT team within the MultiPro division, reports directly to the Senior IT Director - MultiPro. This role is dedicated to collaborating with various functional areas within MultiPro to develop an in-depth understanding of their business processes and the corresponding system functionalities. Key responsibilities include documenting processes, designing improvements for both processes and systems, delivering system instruction, and championing system adoption. The success of this role hinges on the individual's ability to serve as the subject matter expert for system capabilities, effectively articulating functionality within the context of standard business processes across all organizational levels.

Central to this role is the generation of instructional documentation and the clear communication of system changes to the user community, achieved through both remote and on-site delivery methods. As the primary resource for comprehending the sales-to-cash system functionality, business processes, and interdependencies within the MultiPro division, this role serves as the go-to expert for addressing related inquiries and driving efficiency enhancements.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET

Work environment: 100% Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business processes and related system functions, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, define system enhancements, and implement solutions
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Conduct requirements and design sessions with functional areas defining enhancements and priorities
  • Instruct all business roles, including independent contractors, in system functionality and processes
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
  • Create instructional materials and content in various media to maximize access
  • Encourage system adoption and functionality feedback from system users
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Document and communicate effectively the results of data gathering efforts
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Stay current on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
  • Perform user acceptance testing
  • Manage small projects, develop project plans, and monitor project performance
  • Communicate competing resources and priorities, recommending solutions to resolve constraints
  • Perform requirements analysis; update, implement, and maintain procedures
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users

Qualifications:

  • Customer-centric and highly motivated individual adept at thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment with multiple priorities
  • Possesses strong critical thinking and analytical abilities, with a knack for organizing and presenting complex concepts effectively
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Brings a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in business analysis or a proven capacity to grasp end-to-end business processes and their interconnections with system functionality
  • Demonstrates fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Capable of influencing stakeholders and collaborating closely with them to identify viable solutions
  • Exhibits the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and foster collaboration across teams
  • Demonstrates expertise or a willingness to lead cross-functional meetings, delving into intricate business processes to craft comprehensive business requirements
  • Proficient in translating concepts and requirements into appropriate designs
  • Possesses excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, including experience in crafting and delivering presentations
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Familiarity with project management techniques and methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) and software development approaches like SDLC
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
