Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Advise, coach, and mentor both managers and associates to identify the talent and business needs of their assigned business lines.
  • Provide HR leadership, advice and direction to business leaders at all levels and employees in areas such as recruiting, onboarding, talent development, succession planning, organizational development, performance management, workforce planning, compensation and compliance.
  • Partner with fellow colleagues in talent acquisition, talent development, total rewards, learning and development, people solutions and services, and diversity, equity, - inclusion teams, to innovate and execute on HR programs and processes including Performance Acceleration, Salary Administration, DEI and Engagement initiatives and Succession Planning to ensure effectiveness, compliance, inclusion, and equity throughout Valley.
  • Execute HR functions and processes, such as providing management consultation and direction to assigned lines of business including specific issues relating to staff position descriptions, total rewards, performance management, learning and development, policy implementation, and new and on-going HR initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key business leaders to develop and execute on innovative ideas to enhance culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Understand and communicate company policies, procedures and programs ensuring that internal customers are aware of HR initiatives designed to support and enhance company culture across all channels.
  • Partner with employee relations and HR business partner teammates to review results of exit interviews, or employee relations investigations to identify issues and make recommendations for improvement/resolution to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and governmental reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.
  • Prepare and leverage HR data to inform and influence key decisions, process improvements and policy changes to establish business line goals.
  • Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
  • Partner with HR colleagues on project-related activities.
