
Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Identify and develop centers of influence within the communities served to increase sales, provide ongoing referrals and leads for all Valley Insurance Services.
- Represents VIS at local events, serving with local charities, fund raisers, etc. where business development opportunities exist to bring awareness to VIS's capabilities.
- Participates in industry trade groups and business associations to enhance Valley Insurance Services' brand.
- Handle referrals and identify cross sell opportunities from internal service teams, Producers, and Valley Bank partners including Retail Banking and Residential Mortgage Servicing.
- Attain annual sales goals set by Director of Personal Lines.
- Develop and deliver formal insurance proposals, including information concerning coverage, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent details.
- Possesses the knowledge of insurance markets, including the underwriting criteria of external carrier partners' products, to sell effectively and increase revenue.
- Follow all procedures and regulations set forth by the agency, insurance carriers and state departments of insurance.
