WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Responsible for all aspects of buying for assigned departments and classifications for Direct-to-Consumer Channels, ensuring that financial targets and plans are met.
- Participate in weekly business review meetings, monthly OTB meetings, line reviews, presenting in-depth analysis of respective departments and classifications.
- Identify key opportunities to maximize sales and drive the process to meet financial objectives.
- Responsible for overseeing the OTB, taking action as necessary; recommending promotional strategies and markdowns.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the industry through store visits and competitive analysis.
- Identify business opportunities through analyzing sales performance and gathering marketplace/trend information.
- Identify key trends, new brands, ideas and key influencers in the marketplace that are relevant to our target consumer.
- Communicate and collaborate with Merchandise and Design teams.
- Partner closely with Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, Ecomm Merchandising, and Marketing teams to gain alignment and help drive key stories, promotions, activations, and other initiatives
- Work with Visual team to create strong floor sets to drive maximum sales.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 2-4 years of retail buying experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) and/or equivalent work experience required
- Strong retail math acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically,
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in face paced environment
- Team Player
- Strong MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Full Circle and KWI experience a plus

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is 60k-75k. This position is Hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
