Description
The Recycle Center Loader Operator is responsible operating the front end loader to move recyclable material to the correct location for proper sorting.
1. Operating the front end loader with a high degree of skill.
2. Maintain a clean and organized work area
3. Observe and report any potential malfunctions of the loader.
4. Assist with the proper care and basic maintenance of the loader.
5. Maintain an understanding of the recyclable commodities sorted and baled at the facility
6. Maintain constant awareness of the tipping floor and direct truck traffic during the dumping and loading process.
7. Observe and report any unsafe activities or circumstances at the facility
6. Assist with the proper care and maintenance of the baler.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* Normal setting for this job is Industrial process plant with heavy production equipment, rolling stock and inventory.
* Required to use motor coordination and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* May also work in a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations including heat, cold, snow, rain, wind; noise and vibrations, fumes, odors and dust
