After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Summary:

This Program is designed for applicants who have completed their post-secondary education and would like to gain work experience in their field of study. Applicant will be hired in a Tribal Department to gain work experience and will be hired up to two (2) years.


Responsibilities:

* Create and maintain positive relationships with the Nation's stakeholders (organization, community, customers, etc.) using various media outlets.
* Coordinate internal and external communications and marketing efforts.
* Coordinate and collaborate on internal/external community events
* Create communications and marketing documents.
* Collaborate with various departments and individuals
* Work with the General Manager to develop a communications strategy.
* Gather and report on communications and marketing metrics.
* Display professionalism at all times and in all communications.
* Develop content for print media and social media.
* Assist in development, planning, and implementation of marketing strategies to promote Oneida Nation.
* Attend outside training opportunities for continuous learning and to expand knowledge on new digital marketing skills.
* Work with multiple areas to gather necessary information for communication and reporting.

* Operate various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment

* Must present a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of the Oneida Nation in dealing with the general public
* Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also as a team to address complex problems and meet strict deadlines

* Organizing with the ability to plan, organize, and schedule priorities efficiently and manage multiple projects in a timely manner
* Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with staff; clients, management, or other departments, as well as external agencies, necessary to effectively carry out job duties is required

* Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals and groups in a complex, multi cultural environment is required.
* Ability to learn basic advertising and promotional fundamentals and market organizationally.
* Ability to learn digital marketing activities and analytics.

* Ability to work well under pressure and to meet strict guidelines and time frames is required
* A valid driver's license or occupational driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance are required. Must obtain a Wisconsin driver's license or occupational driver's license within thirty (30) days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver's license. Must be authorized as eligible to operate a personal vehicle under the Oneida Nation's Vehicle Driver Certification and Fleet Management Law prior to actual start date. Must maintain driver's eligibility as a condition of employment.

Must be willing and able to obtain additional related education and training.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
