**Must be willing to work onsite in Bangalore every Tuesday & Thursday**

In this role you will:

This position is responsible for maintaining the books of accounts as per the GAAP requirements and ensuring compliance with company policies and internal control procedures. This position supports the Record to Report and compliance activities for a set of legal entities in one or multiple jurisdictions and owns timely closure of books monthly, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and other basic accounting functions.

Essential Functions:
  • Supports, accounting includes general accounting, payroll accounting and accruals (vendor and payroll related).
  • Prepares journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and account analysis and takes appropriate follow-up action as required
  • Makes recommendations to maintain and enhance processes and controls
  • An individual contributor, responsible for general accounting duties.
Qualitfications:
  • Graduate with 5 years of job-related experience

  • Adequate communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience in a multinational multicurrency environment with foreign currency translation and ability to work in remote accounting operations.
