Associate Director, Finance

The Associate Director, Finance manages all aspects of Financial Accounting, Book Close, Audit, Tax and Financial Compliance for the selected geographies.

In this role you will:

 

  • Maintain responsibility for the accounting transactions, book close, audit management, tax, and financial compliances for the geography. Gathers necessary data for accomplishing the above-mentioned taxes and collaborates with FP&A to discuss and analyze variances and closures. Provides support to key business partners.
  • Design and direct the preparation of meaningful financial analysis. Work on quarter close and rely with FP&A to arrive at the numbers.
  • Hire, train, and develop team members. Coach staff in order to develop a highly competent and skilled team.
  • Maintain responsibility for identifying opportunities to conserve financial resources in day-to-day activities.
  • Oversee the administration for the financial reporting system used for accounting close.
  • Work with FP&A team to support consolidated and business unit reporting needs
  • Manage the design and creation of financial reports both standard recurring reports and ad hoc reports to manage the accounting reporting
  • Ensure the system appropriately consolidates financial information from all entities including intercompany eliminations, cost allocations, and foreign currency translation.
We are looking for someone who has:
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in Corporate Finance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of computer software, general ledger, and financial systems
  • Strong Accounting and book close skills
  • Solid understanding of GAAP
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven experience in Data processing
  • Up to 20% International Travel.
